These lilac hoop earrings ring the lobe with matte beads that grow larger towards the base. The stud is round, gold-toned and edged with tiny rhinestones; the hoop below it spans 4.5 cm.
Beads run almost the whole way round, closing just under the stud. Matte rather than glossy, they keep the lilac quiet. The ring measures 4.5 cm across, wide enough to read from the front without pulling the ear downwards.
The smallest beads sit closest to the stud. Size builds steadily from there, so the largest beads land at the bottom of the ring, where the eye stops.
The round stud lies flat on the lobe, a sunburst motif at its centre and a border of clear rhinestones around it. A butterfly back holds everything in place, and the beaded ring hangs just below. Against a grey marl jumper or a cream shirt, the soft lilac and gold tones stay low-key; on black, they carry much further.
Hoops stay put; the pairs that sway with the slightest turn of the head sit in a different part of the shop.

Perfume and hairspray go on first, the earrings last, so nothing settles on the matte beads. Lay each one flat afterwards, with nothing heavy resting on top. A dry cloth over the stud is enough, and abrasive cleaners belong nowhere near the rhinestones or the beads.
