A clasp-frame coin purse with a girl and a cat

A small clock in the corner

Look to the top left and a round wall clock appears, set into the printed wall. The side panels break with the printed scene: one is grey, the other a soft sage green with a braided texture that catches the light differently from the printed panels.

Clock faces take over the back

Turn it over and the characters disappear. The reverse is covered with clock dials in green, coral and grey, each ringed by a lace-like border and marked with Roman numerals on a cream ground. It almost reads as a second accessory: one purse, two looks.

The cotton lining runs round a single compartment sized for coins, folded notes and the odd small item, a lip balm or a locker key. A chain and its ring are fixed to one side, so the purse can hang from a bag handle rather than sink to the bottom of your bag. Looking after the frame and the chain

The frame keeps its bronze tone longer when you wipe it now and then with a soft, dry cloth. Check that the chain is not trapped in the closure before you press the frame shut, since a caught link stops the two clasp balls from meeting properly.
