A black mini wallet from Mandoline, 14 x 11 cm, with a row of small decorative studs across the front and a strap that closes on a magnet.
Inside, a small pocket on the front for the card you reach for all day, and a larger zipped pocket for coins and notes.
The front carries a row of small decorative studs. The back is left plain, so nothing catches on a bag lining. That one detail does the work: light catches the heads and breaks up a surface that would otherwise be very quiet.
The strap folds over the front and holds on a magnet. One movement, no press stud to fight with. You can open it with one hand, which matters when the other is holding a phone or a shopping bag.
The front pocket takes whatever you reach for constantly: travel card, ticket, loyalty card. Behind it, the zipped pocket keeps coins and notes shut away. Nothing clever about it, but it saves the daily rummage at the till. To compare capacity, look through the other compact coin purses before you decide.
At 14 x 11 cm it lies flat in a coat pocket, in a clutch, or at the bottom of a crossbody bag without filling it. The body is plain black synthetic, matt, with no print and no shine, so it goes with the rest of what you carry. The studs stop it looking severe.

A damp cloth over the synthetic lifts fingermarks. A dry cloth on the studs avoids leaving water marks. That is the whole routine. The rest of the wallets and pouches on the same shelf take the same treatment.
