A pastel green and yellow bear keyring, up close

Two raised crosses stand in for eyes, and the open mouth below them is a green crescent. From there the eye travels down: pale yellow ears, white arms cut like small wings, a pale yellow belly. The two legs are mismatched: one picks up the yellow of the belly, the other the green of the face.

The belly medallion catches the light

The raised lightning bolt on the belly stands proud of the surface. It sits inside a rounded disc that rises from the body, so it catches the light as you turn it in your hand. The face and the bolt are moulded the same way, which is what gives the little figure its graphic look.

From the split ring down to the tip of the strap

The figure measures 7 × 3.5 cm and the strap 10.5 cm. A green tab, closed with a metal press stud, links it to the wide split ring that carries the keys. Along the strap the green fades from solid to almost see-through, with the word CURRENT running between two white stripes. And next to the ring hangs a gold-tone lobster clasp: it opens under your thumb and gives you a second anchor point on a bag loop or a shoulder strap, for the days when the keys stay in a pocket.
