A grey silicone strap built in blocks

The grey silicone strap is made of blocks separated by metal-look links, instead of being cut from a single piece. Each joint flexes independently, so the strap curves with the wrist. Grey also sits quietly beside silver-coloured jewellery, which is one reason this shade turns up so often on an everyday watch. A 39 mm case under a graduated bezel

The graduated bezel is marked in tens from 10 to 60, the numerals picked out in a lighter tone against the grey. Inside that ring, the dial stays plain white, which is why the time reads clearly from across a desk.

Three sub-dials, a crown and two pushers

Three small sub-dials sit in the middle of the dial, under slim silver-coloured hands. The ERNEST name is printed just below the 12, and the large numerals are pushed right out to the edge. On the right-hand side, a crown flanked by two pushers breaks up the profile and gives the case a sportier line.
