Vintage Star Camel Canvas Tote Bag

A printed star sits at the centre of this camel canvas handbag

The front panel carries one large graphic and nothing else. A star fills most of the height, its ink broken and patchy rather than solid, and around it runs a round stamp dated 1978, with two smaller stars set either side of the date and lettering following the circle down to the base. Everything is printed straight onto the weave, with no appliqué and no embroidery, so the ink skips the low points of the canvas and the whole mark reads as worn in. Where the brown deepens: tabs, sleeving and hardware

The canvas is a warm camel, lighter in places, with a grain you can pick out at arm's length.
