Where the soft body meets a flat base

Set this bag down and it settles rather than stands. There is no frame inside, so the navy sides fall inward and the body widens gently from the top fold towards the bottom, where the panel is cut flat. That slight sag is what dates the shape: bags built this way were meant to be filled, not held in shape. Nothing here is rigid, so the outline you get is the one you pack. What the camel pocket does to a navy vintage handbag

Almost the whole front is taken up by a single camel patch pocket.
