Leopard print sunglasses with a chunky frame whose four corners have been cut away: a rectangle head-on, a six-sided shape close up. The brown lenses are graduated, deeper along the brow and lighter towards the bottom rim.
Each arm carries a ridged gold-tone medallion set between two matching bars, at its broadest point. You notice it in profile rather than face on.
Leopard usually gets filed under statement prints, yet look at what it is made of: browns, ochres and black, the colours most wardrobes already run on. A brown and tawny leopard print therefore argues with far less than a red would. Here it covers the front, wraps the bridge, runs the length of the arms and reaches the tips, inner faces included, so it holds from every angle rather than sitting on the front like a sticker.
Head-on, the outline reads as a rectangle. Closer up, the four corners turn out to be cut away: the top edge slopes down towards the temples, the bottom edge climbs back at the same angle, and what you have is a six-sided frame with cut corners. Those short diagonals soften the corner of a square jaw rather than repeating it. If you sort by colour first, there are black, clear and brightly coloured frames in the same range.
The graduated brown lenses are densest along the brow and lighten towards the lower rim, which keeps your eyes visible behind them. Against the amber ground of the frame, the two browns shift with the light: warmer in shade, sharper in full sun.
The arms are broad at the front and taper towards the tips, so the widest section falls just past the hinge. That is where a ridged gold-tone medallion sits, cut with concentric grooves and framed by two ribbed bars. One per arm, no more: the second disc that seems to appear on the far side of a profile shot is the back of that same piece, plain and dark. Sitting that far forward, the metal works whether the glasses are on your face or pushed up into your hair.

Treated as a neutral, the print stops being the thing an outfit has to be built around. Camel, cream, khaki and raw denim all take it without a fight, and black takes it too, warmed rather than challenged. The place to watch is the rest of the face: a strong lip and this frame are both working at the same height.
