    Two rectangular lenses with softened corners, tinted an even black corner to corner and held with no rim at all. The arms are gold-toned chain links that give way to black before the ear. A slim gold bridge and two clear nose pads are the only other pieces on the front.

    Black rimless sunglasses with gold chain-link arms

    Nothing surrounds the glass here. The cut edge is left bare the whole way round, so the shape you see is the shape the lens was cut to: a wide rectangle, softened at each corner rather than squared off. The black holds the same depth from one side to the other, with no lighter patch near the nose.     Wearing a front with nothing around the lens

    A bare edge reads lighter than a rimmed one, even when the tint is this dark, and the face keeps more of its own outline.
